What is Cloud Computation?
Cloud computing is the fast delivery of computing services like servers, data storage, databases, networking, software (desktop-based or server-based), analytics, intelligence and moreover the Internet (“the cloud”) to offer faster innovation, flexible resources, and economies of scope. You typically pay only for cloud services you use services, helping reduce your operating costs, run your infrastructure more efficiently, effectively and scale as your business needs change. Cloud computing provides three different kinds of service models.
The services are accessed remotely over the internet through the user’s web browsers.
SaaS (software as a service): this service refers to software application provision for the cloud.
PaaS (platform as a service): which allow clients to deploy the provision of services. In PaaS programming languages and tools are used to create application supported by suppliers.
IaaS (infrastructure as a service): it means in the cloud processing power, storage space and network capacity allow the user to run different types of software.
Why AWS or Azure is famous?
Azure is a cloud computing service developed by Microsoft for building, testing, deploying, and managing applications and services through a global network of Microsoft-managed datacenters.
Amazon Web Services(aws): is a subsidiary of Amazon(amazon.com) that provides on-demand cloud computing platforms to individuals, companies, and governments, on a paid subscription basis. The technology allows subscribers to have at their disposal a virtual cluster, available all the time, through the Internet. AWS or Azure services are popular because they can reduce the cost and complexity of owning and operating computers, servers, and networks.
Since AWS or Azure users do not have to invest in information technology infrastructure, purchase hardware, buy software licenses, the benefits are low up-front costs, fast return on investment, fast deployment, customization, flexible use, and solutions that can make use of new innovations. In addition, aws or azure providers that have specialized in a particular area (such as e-mail) can bring advanced services that a single company might not be able to afford or develop.
Some other benefits to users include scalability, reliability, efficiency. Scalability means that cloud computing offers unlimited processing and storage capacity of services. The aws or azure is reliable in that it enables access to applications and documents anywhere in the world via the Internet. Aws or azure computing is often considered efficient because it allows organizations to free up resources to focus on innovation and product development.
Another potential benefit is that personal information may be better protected in the aws or azure. Specifically, aws or azure may improve efforts to build privacy protections into technology from the start and the use of better security mechanisms. Aws or azure computing will enable more flexible IT acquisition and improvements, which may permit adjustments to procedures based on the sensitivity of the data.
